A second impression of Hasui's Ochanomizu design from the Tôkyô nijûkei series, this print documents the site as Hasui observed it during the Taisho period, when the Kanda River gorge retained its characteristic stone embankments alongside the elevated railway infrastructure built in the late Meiji era. Within the Twenty Views series, the Ochanomizu composition represents the urban waterway type—a category distinct from Hasui's park, shrine, and street-view designs in the same set. Differences between this and the first impression may be visible in the depth of color in the water, the gradation of the sky bokashi, or the sharpness of the key-block line in the stonework. The series was reprinted over several years, and impression quality varied with block wear and pigment consistency across print runs.
