Biography
Neil Malone is an Australian mokuhanga artist based in Melbourne. Born in 1950, he served as Head of Printmaking at the Victorian College of the Arts from 2002 to 2013. He participated in the juried international exhibition at the 2021 International Mokuhanga Conference (IMC) in Nara, Japan — one of eight artists selected from Australia. The 2021 conference, themed around sumi (black ink), brought together mokuhanga practitioners from around the world.
