Description
A diamond-oriented square print centers on a spiraling eye-like form of concentric black, white, and gray rings radiating from a small yellow dot, bordered by a thin dark red ring. From this center, a wide arced band unfurls to the upper left in graduated stripes of teal, blue, green, yellow, orange, and dark brown, set against a white square embossed with faint concentric circular ridges. Amano Kazumi's 1973 "Adaptation - A," an embossed woodcut and collage mounted to linen, is signed and titled in pencil beneath the composition.
