Bull, Bird, rug

A predominantly blue monotype with pale, cloud-like white forms mottled across the surface, their edges suggesting a horned animal head at upper left and a rounded body below. Loose blue linear strokes trail across the lower half like scattered branches, alongside small passages of coral, green, and yellow pigment and an oval of stippled gold-and-white marks near the bottom edge. Eric Conrad's *Bull, Bird, rug* (2021, gouache and monotype) renders its title's subjects abstractly, with no clear bird form distinguishable amid the diffuse blue-and-white ground.
