Träne III

Träne III (2022) is a woodblock print by Lucy May Schofield centered on a single large, rounded black form with a small curling peak at its top right edge, printed with visible wood-grain texture on cream paper. Above it, a horizontal band of blue ink graduates from deep indigo at the top to pale, near-white at the bottom. The composition is spare and abstract, with the dark mass set against the open cream ground and the fading blue strip.
