Take Away

A grey heron with a yellow bill stands low in the frame at the edge of a dense stand of tall, dry reeds rendered in fine vertical linework of tan, brown, and black; a pale blue-grey sky is visible above the reed line. The heron's plumage is picked out in white, grey, and black with an orange-buff patch at the neck, and its yellow legs are partly obscured by the grasses.
