Reverse: Universe -Ichimatsu-

Two mirrored, symmetrical views of an angular interior space rendered in flattened geometric planes of deep maroon, mustard yellow, black, and white-and-navy checkerboard patterns, with accents of olive green and silver-grey wood-grain texture. Sliding doors, latticed screens, and tatami-like floor and ceiling beams are suggested through bold rectilinear blocks of color rather than realistic detail, giving the composition a hard-edged, abstracted architectural feel with no human figures present.
