Cloth Shadow

A rectangular monotype dominated by a mottled dark brown-to-black field of woven cloth texture, its edges left frayed and unraveling with loose threads visible along both sides. Tonal gradations lighten toward the center into soft grey-beige, giving the impression of illuminated fabric against a pale, unmarked paper ground. *Cloth Shadow*, a monotype print on paper by Yagi Nagisa (year unknown), is signed in pencil at the lower right.
