Description

A jagged, angular abstract form in shades of blue-green, black, and marbled grey-white cuts diagonally across the composition, its sharp planes suggesting the swept-back wings of an aircraft or bird in flight. This shape is set against a horizontal band of textured, cloud- or rock-like grey-white patterning, which itself sits within graduated horizontal bands of color shifting from dark navy at the top through pale blue-grey to cream at the bottom. The overall effect is one of dynamic, streamlined motion suspended against a still, atmospheric backdrop; the sheet is pencil-signed "A. Nishikawa" at lower right and numbered 60/60 at lower left.
