$200–$1,500. Common prints: $200–$500. Key value factors: Amano's prints are affordably priced and accessible.
Crows C — the third variation in Amano's crow series — deploys one of his characteristic early subjects in its most developed compositional form. Crows (karasu) in Japanese art carry complex associations: they are the sacred birds of Kumano shrines, omens of both good and ill fortune in different regional traditions, and visually striking subjects whose black-on-pale composition aligns naturally with the sumi ink tradition. Amano's abstract treatment of crows likely emphasizes the birds' silhouetted forms as geometric elements within a formal composition.
Crows C was created by Amano Kunihiro (天野邦弘).
Crows C depicts birds & flowers and abstract.
