$200–$1,500. Common prints: $200–$500. Key value factors: Amano's prints are affordably priced and accessible.
Flying — tobu — captures the essential act of avian movement that recurs throughout Amano's bird subjects. Whether depicting crows, geese, doves, or abstracted bird forms, the moment of flight particularly interested Amano for its dynamic compositional possibilities: wings spread against sky, the body's horizontal thrust, the implied speed and freedom of aerial movement. His abstract treatment reduces flight to its geometric essence — diagonal thrust, wing shapes, the relationship of moving form to the empty space it passes through.
Flying was created by Amano Kunihiro (天野邦弘).
Flying depicts birds & flowers and abstract.
