Description
"Within Living Memory" is a contemporary mokuhanga print by Amano Kunihiro, created during the postwar. Amano Kunihiro was a self-taught woodblock printmaker from Hirosaki, Aomori Prefecture, whose compositions elegantly merge geometrical and natural forms. His work evolved from early figurative subjects to increasingly abstract and meditative compositions.
