Southwest

"Southwest" (2025), an oil on Dibond work by Brian Williams, is an abstract composition of smooth, tube-like forms in saturated yellow, green, and pale blue set against a slate-blue ground. A vertical maroon-to-orange bar runs down the center, fitted with a grey ring or collar at its middle, while horizontal bands of orange, salmon-pink, and green stripe the lower portion of the canvas beneath the looping shapes. The palette is bright and high-contrast, the surfaces smooth and evenly painted, with no figures present.
