Description
A single towering wave curls into a spiral, its dark indigo-blue body cresting into white foam that breaks apart into scattered droplets against a pale, empty background. The composition is dominated by this one diagonal, cave-like curl of water, rendered entirely in blue-and-white tones with no land, figures, or vessels present. "The Wave," a 2023 mokuhanga woodblock print by Cameron Bailey, is signed in pencil at the lower right of the margin.
