Soft Diagram I

Four circular forms in dark, fibrous sumi-ink rendered in varying density sit against pale, textured Japanese paper: a large ring enclosing a smaller ring at top center, and below them a solid dark disc, an open ring, and a faint near-invisible circle whose outline barely registers against the paper.
