Description
A framed abstract composition on cream-toned paper, dominated by a dense horizontal band of tangled black sumi-ink linework running across the center, with sparser wisps of ink trailing above and below it. Small clusters of soft pink-red pigment are scattered along the same horizontal band, interspersed among the black marks. The palette is otherwise limited to the pale, unmarked paper ground, giving the composition a spare, calligraphic quality; a pencil inscription and the artist's name appear beneath the image within the mat.
