Shorty

A single orange-red persimmon with a tan-and-black calyx sits left of center against a mottled deep-blue ground streaked with gold and flecked with black and white. The paper itself has irregular, deckle-torn edges and a horizontal band of raised, textured strokes running across the blue field, giving the surface a weathered, tactile quality.
