Turbulence

A single towering wave curls into a deep indigo arc across the center, its foam rendered in pale cream ridges against the natural cream-toned Nepalese paper; jagged black rock formations pierce through the foam and water at several points. The wave is bordered by a light blue background patterned with fine wave-scroll motifs. Daniel Kelly's 2020 woodblock print "Turbulence" uses this bold indigo, cream, and pale blue palette with no human figures present, concentrating on the collision of wave and rock alone.
