Description

Composition number 993 (1988) divides a square into two triangles along a jagged diagonal: a flat cobalt-blue triangle at upper left against a cream-white triangle at lower right. The diagonal seam and the square's right and bottom edges are built up from a ragged, torn-looking band of colors — orange, green, pink, yellow, teal, magenta, and dark green — as if layered strata are showing through a torn edge. The print is pencil-signed "Y. Funasaka 1988" and numbered in the lower margin, set on a cream mat.
