Description
*Tender Fruit* depicts a green prickly pear cactus with paddle-shaped segments covered in small white spines, bearing several deep red, heart-shaped fruits and one open purple-pink blossom with a yellow center. The cactus sits against a pale blue background patterned with an allover motif of spirals and interlocking key-fret (meander) shapes. Israel Campos created this 2018 reduction linocut on Japanese paper.
