A tall pine tree stands left of center, its needled crown catching pale light against a dark wooded backdrop of dense conifers. The image is built from a visible dot-pattern of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black ink, giving the illuminated foliage a shimmering, pixelated texture while the surrounding trees and ground remain in deep shadow. Yuasa Katsutoshi produced this woodcut with water-based ink on Japanese paper in 2016.
