Description
A single figure in a pale blue-grey robe with an orange under-layer kneels on a wooden veranda, holding a red and yellow fan, gazing out toward a stream bordered by rocks and green reeds under a soft, muted sky. Bamboo blinds are rolled up along the building's edge to the left, and a red title cartouche with vertical Japanese text sits in the upper right corner; small dragonflies are visible in the air above the water. The palette is soft and subdued — pale blue, orange, moss green, and beige — giving the scene a quiet, contemplative mood. Woodblock print titled *Kagero* by Ogata Gekko, 1887.
