Description
A single samurai in dark armor over a blue-and-white patterned undergarment climbs a rope ladder against a rocky, mist-grey background, gripping a long spear-like pole in one hand. Snow-dusted plum branches extend across the lower right corner, and cursive Japanese text with a red seal appears at upper right and lower left. The palette is muted — charcoal, indigo, and pale grey-beige — with the figure caught mid-climb in a tense, upward-straining pose. Woodblock print titled "Okuda Sadaemon Yukitaka" by Ogata Gekko, 1902.
