Description
Two nearly identical pale-skinned figures stand facing away and in profile against a mottled violet-and-blue background streaked with faint vertical bands. Both wear black long-sleeved tops with white kerchiefs at the neck, dark shorts cinched with a sash (indigo on the left figure, deep red on the right), and have short dark hair with a red band on the right figure's head; each holds a small blue butterfly between their fingers, with additional butterflies scattered in flight around them. The palette is muted and cool—blues, violets, and grays—giving the scene a quiet, still mood; the print is pencil-numbered and titled in the lower margin and signed "Yakemoto" in the lower right, consistent with the 1982 woodcut by Ryusei Okamoto titled White Fox; Twins - B.
