Magnolia

A cluster of pale purple-pink magnolia blossoms with a few unopened buds occupies the lower right corner, rendered with visible plate texture typical of etching; a small dark bird perches among the lower branches. The upper left two-thirds of the composition is left as open, muted grey-beige space crossed by a few thin horizontal lines suggestive of a distant shoreline or water's edge.
