Mexicana

An abstract composition in shades of blue, teal, and cream dominated by overlapping geometric planes and angular fragments clustered at the center, surrounded by circular, coin-like motifs scattered across the upper portion. Fine incised linework and stippled textures cover the shapes, giving the surface a weathered, mosaic-like quality, while pale cream tones bleed through the blue washes toward the edges. The print is signed and titled in pencil beneath the image, with an edition number at lower left. Original etching on wove paper by Shoichi Hasegawa, titled *Mexicana*, year unknown.
