Description
A cargo ship marked "T283" sits docked beside cranes, masts, and rigging rendered as an angular lattice of thin black lines against a muted grey-green and cream palette. The composition breaks the harbor scene into faceted, overlapping triangular and diamond shapes, with small dark birds scattered across the upper sky. Fumio Kitaoka's 1954 woodblock print flattens the dockside machinery and hull into an abstracted geometric pattern rather than a naturalistic view.
