Unknown, abstract 1

A vertical black form of curving, comb-like lines and a central spike dominates the center of the composition, set against a mottled grey ground textured with faint floral and cellular patterns. A round vermillion disc sits to the right of the black form, four small black dots are aligned horizontally to the left, and an ochre/mustard geometric patch occupies the lower-left corner. The print is signed and dated in pencil beneath the image; medium is woodblock, artist Fumio Kitaoka.
