Description
A minimalist woodblock print rendered in muted gray tones, depicting an abstracted rocky shoreline where jagged white-edged rock formations meet the sea. Slender curved bands and small dots of turquoise and deep blue represent water surging through crevices in the rocks, set against a textured gray stone surface. The composition is spare and asymmetrical, with the rock mass occupying the left portion of the sheet and the blue water forms trailing diagonally across the center; pencil annotations and a signature appear in the lower margin. Hidehiko Goto, "Sound of the Waves," 2016.
