Description
A single palm tree fills the composition, its trunk textured with overlapping diamond-shaped bark patterns in brown and rust-red, topped by two asymmetric bursts of dark green fronds, drooping reddish-brown dead fronds, and clusters of small yellow-green flowers or seed pods. A pale crescent or disc—suggesting a sun or moon—sits low on the left behind the foliage. The background is divided into a warm peach upper field and a pink lower field, giving the scene a flat, graphic, high-contrast quality.
