Horabaixa

Juan Escudero's *Horabaixa* (2024), an etching on Hahnemühle 350 gr paper, is an abstract vertical composition dominated by a smooth color gradient — pale cream and gold at the top, deepening through warm orange to brick-red and maroon at the bottom — overlaid with faint horizontal wave-like striations and crossed near its base by a narrow pale band. No figures or other representational elements appear, giving the sheet a still, warm-toned quality. The print is shown framed in light wood with a white mat, hung against a plain white wall.
