Migjorn

*Migjorn* (2025) by Juan Escudero is a horizontal-format etching depicting an empty expanse of sea and sky rendered entirely in fine horizontal lines of pale turquoise and aqua. A darker teal band of gentle swells crosses the lower third of the composition, while the upper two-thirds fade into a paler, almost white-blue haze suggesting a hazy horizon; no figures, boats, or shoreline appear. Printed in etching on Hahnemühle 350 gsm 100% cotton paper, the sheet shows visible deckled edges and is pencil-numbered in the lower margin.
