The truncated title makes precise identification difficult, but Sekino produced a number of prints with spare, meditative compositions in which a single figure or element conveys psychological presence. If drawn from his portrait or figure series, the print likely features close cropping, textured background carving, and Sekino's restrained but deliberate use of flat color zones separated by confident key-block lines. His sosaku-hanga practice — in which the artist carved, printed, and conceived each work independently — meant that even ambiguously titled prints carry a strong individual sensibility. The washi ground would absorb the ink to give characteristic warmth to the color fields.
