A nineteenth untitled print from Kaiseki Jokata — nearing the end of the group of undocumented works in his catalog. His formal language, developed across the systematic "25 Views" series, was sufficiently flexible to accommodate the full range of viewpoints and seasonal conditions that surround Fuji: the distant view across water, the intimate foreground of village or orchard, the elevated prospect from a neighboring summit, the reflected image in a lake's still surface.
