Description
A large butterfly with patterned wings—black marked with orange-red eyespots and pale blue-white bands near the tips—rests on a green leaf against a dark, near-black ground. Elongated pale green leaf shapes radiate around the edges of the composition, framing the insect close-up and off-center. This woodblock print, titled "Butterfly," was made by Yuasa Katsutoshi in 2017.
