Description
Twelve folded-paper origami forms are arrayed against a solid black background, rendered in mottled silvery-white and gray tones that show the creased texture of the paper. The shapes include a cube, a crane, a swan, a butterfly, a boat, a fish, a cat's face, a small shirt, and other geometric and animal forms, spaced evenly in an unbordered grid. A red vertical cartouche with Japanese characters sits in the upper right corner; this mezzotint, titled *Origami #1*, was made by Katsunori Hamanishi in 2008.
