Description
A framed print divided into a grid of squares, each panel fragmenting and reassembling motifs from Hokusai's Great Wave — curling indigo-and-white breakers, spray picked out in gold and white flecks — interspersed with solid mustard-gold panels and one panel showing a small red-and-white Mount Fuji. The palette is dominated by deep indigo blue, mustard/gold, and white, with the composition built as a mosaic-like patchwork rather than a single continuous scene.
