Description
Royal Academy exhibition poster for "Kyōsai: The Israel Goldman Collection" (19 March–19 June 2022), overprinted with a large red "RA" logo and white title text. The underlying artwork shows a scowling, red-faced figure in an ornate gold crown and green dragon-patterned robe, gripping a large grey rock or boulder, beside a pale ghostly figure at left and two women with dark hair in pale kimono at right. The palette is dominated by aged cream/tan, with red, green, and gold accents; the composition is cropped tightly so the crowned figure's face and hands dominate the upper portion of the sheet.
