Description
Two crows rendered in solid black ink perch on a pale grey, sparingly-branched plum tree, one above the other, set against a plain cream background. Small clusters of pink plum blossoms and thin dark twigs branch off in the upper right, with a soft peach-toned wash suggesting a hazy sky behind them. The palette is limited to black, grey, cream, and touches of pink and peach, giving the composition a quiet, spare mood; a red seal and columns of Japanese calligraphy appear in the lower left.
