Description
Cold Night, a 2015 archival pigment print by Kazz Morishita, shows a bare, leafless tree in silhouette on the left against a dark night sky partly obscured by clouds. A large, partially shadowed moon glows pale gold and blue-grey at upper right, with low hills and a scattering of small structures visible along the horizon below. The palette is dominated by near-black silhouettes and muted grey-blue tones, broken only by the warm glow of the moon.
