Description
NATSU NO UMI — Ocean in the Summer — the third treatment of the summer sea subject in Kimura's seascape series, this version presenting the ocean's summer character through a compositional approach distinct from the NATSUNOUMI and Summer Ocean versions. Kimura's multiple summer sea compositions demonstrate his sustained exploration of the same visual experience across different compositional solutions, each version asking what else can be found in the deep blue, intensely lit expanse of the summer ocean.
