Untitled work by Kobashi Yasuhide

Untitled, a bronze sculpture by Kobashi Yasuhide, is a tall, tapering vertical form that narrows from a bulbous, rounded crown down to a slender stem set on a low rectangular base. Radiating from the upper portion is a cluster of small knob- and pin-like protrusions of varying lengths, jutting outward at irregular angles against the smooth, elongated body. The bronze surface has a warm golden-brown patina, photographed against a plain gray gradient background.
