Description
A long, narrow horizontal relief panel mounted on a plain white wall, built from a dense series of vertical ridges that cast fine parallel shadows across its surface. Nearly the entire panel is off-white/cream, interrupted by one solid dark indigo-blue band of ridges positioned left of center. This 2015 work by Masayuki Tsubota is made of gesso and powdered mineral pigments with glue on MDF.
