Description
A parallelogram-shaped relief panel built from stacked horizontal ridges, each ending in sharply pointed, zigzag tips along the left and right edges. The surface is rendered in deep indigo-blue with narrow bands of lighter grey-blue between the ridges, mounted against a plain white ground that throws a hard-edged shadow to the lower right. *The layer of self_indlhshy1* (2015) by Masayuki Tsubota is worked in gesso, powdered mineral pigments, and glue on basswood.
