Description
A large orange and white koi with dark eye markings arcs headfirst down a rushing waterfall rendered in bold vertical streaks of white, grey, and indigo blue, with dark green rocky outcrops breaking through the falls at lower right. The fish's scaled body fills the upper portion against a mustard-yellow and dark red background before diving into the cascading water below. This woodcut, titled *The Sound of Waterfall, Jumper* by Nana Shiomi, uses flat, graphic color blocks and patterned linework in the ukiyo-e tradition.
