Description
A wide, symmetrical landscape divided into two panels, each mirrored top-to-bottom across a still waterline so the yellow-ochre embankment, green foliage masses, and clustered red-orange trees are doubled in reflection. Flat planes of blue sky, green treetops, and mustard-yellow land are rendered in bold, unmodulated color blocks typical of woodblock printing, with a pale wooden footbridge crossing the water at the lower left and right edges. Nana Shiomi, *View – Clockwise*, 2007, woodcut in colours.
