Clouds VI

An abstract composition divided into rectangular blocks of flat color: a wide mauve-brown panel on the left bordered by a thin grey strip, a deep blue field mottled with irregular copper-orange patches suggesting cloud forms in the upper right, and a lower band of red, cream, and black blocks meeting at hard vertical edges. The surface shows visible woodgrain texture within the color fields, particularly in the black panel at right. *Clouds VI*, a unique mokuhanga print by Paul Furneaux (date unknown).
