Salt Ritual

Salt Ritual by Paul Furneaux is a horizontal mixed-media collage in dark umber, black, and gold-brown tones, overlaid with faint white salt-like textures and a pale triangular mound at bottom center. A kneeling robed figure rendered in fine linear drawing occupies the center foreground, flanked by fragmented, semi-transparent figures and patterned forms at the upper left and a house-shaped panel with a seated figure at the right edge. The overall effect is somber and weathered, with the collaged paper and board surface showing mottled, corroded textures throughout.
