Description
*Moon Crest* (2016), an illuminated paperwork by Sarah Brayer, is worked on an irregularly shaped sheet of deep indigo handmade paper edged with pale gold along the upper left. A luminous white circular form sits near the top center against the dark blue ground, with lighter blue and white mottled bands rippling across the lower portion of the sheet. The surface is richly textured with visible paper fibers, and the piece is signed in the lower right.
