Description
"Cosmos" is a shin-hanga print by Shodo Kawarazaki, created during the Taisho-Showa. Shodo Kawarazaki devoted his career to kacho-ga, the Japanese tradition of bird-and-flower painting, translating it into woodblock prints of exceptional botanical precision. Born in Kyoto, he trained in nihonga before applying his skills to printmaking.
